Turn right out of Swinton Country Club, cycling down hill and past castle entrance on your right. Head straight at this point with the parkland wall on your right, passing Low Swinton House on your left.
Go past a row of houses on your left, and turn left immediately after them. Follow this road which goes through a farm and bends right up onto an open common.
At the top of the common, turn right at the T junction. This is a fairly busy road, but you only need to go down the dip, where you can park up for Nutwith Woods on your right or continue further up the hill.
As the road bends to the right you will find Hackfall car park on your left.
Retrace your route to return to Swinton Country Club.
